Tajer Basden has begun his season with the Johnson C. Smith Men’s Cross Country team, competing in the Fleet Feet Invite at Salisbury Community Park.
In the Men’s 8K event, Basden crossed the line 57th overall, clocking a time of 38:41.24. His performance was crucial for his team, as he was the third Johnson C. Smith runner to finish, helping his side to a seventh-place finish overall.
The result marks a solid start for Basden and his team as they begin their 2025 campaign.
