Bermudian tennis player Daniel Phillips returned to the courts for the second week of the M15 Monastir ITF International Tennis Tournament, this time competing in the doubles event. Phillips partnered with Spain's Bernardo Munk Mesa, but their campaign was short-lived as they faced a challenging opening match.
Phillips and Mesa took on the Tunisian pairing of Wissam Abderrahman and Alaa Trifi. The Bermudian-Spanish duo battled hard but ultimately went down in straight sets, with the Tunisian pair securing a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
Despite the early exit in doubles, Phillips continues to gain valuable match experience on the ITF circuit as he pushes to improve his international ranking.
