Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron was back in the sulky at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Anderson, Indiana, last night, participating in four races across both the Pace and Trot classes.
Waldron had a busy evening, navigating the competitive fields in the popular midweek racing meet.
His first outing of the night came in Race 2, a Pace class event. Waldron was aboard Loveyoucookie, guiding the horse to a fifth-place finish with a recorded time of 1 minute, 53 and two-fifths of a second (1:53.2).
Later in the evening, Waldron took the reins of Jk's Flirty Girl in Race 7, another event in the Pace class. This time, they crossed the finish line in seventh position, clocking a time of 1 minute, 55 and three-fifths of a second (1:55.3).
Waldron also featured in the Trot class, partnering with Fiftydallar Tab in Race 8. The duo finished in fifth place, stopping the clock in 1 minute, 55 and one-fifth of a second (1:55.1).
His final drive of the night came in Race 11, the concluding Pace class event. Waldron was aboard Spirit And Heart, and they finished in seventh position with a time of 1 minute, 53 and three-fifths of a second (1:53.3).
While Waldron didn't secure a victory on the night, his participation in multiple races across different classes demonstrates his continued involvement in the competitive harness racing scene at Hoosier Park. The experience gained in these races will undoubtedly be valuable as he continues his season in Indiana.
