Jillian Terceira was in action at the Peelbergen Outdoor event in the Netherlands, competing in two separate show jumping classes with different mounts.
In the 1.20m Special Two Phases Class, Terceira partnered with Donut. The pair navigated the First Phase in a time of 39.70 seconds but incurred 4 penalty fault points. Moving onto the Second Phase, they completed the course in 47.33 seconds, this time accumulating 8 penalty fault points. Ultimately, Terceira and Donut finished in 62nd position in the class.
Later in the event, Terceira rode La Tamerina in the 1.30m Special Two Phases Class. Their First Phase saw them clock a time of 40.93 seconds, but they also picked up 8 penalty fault points. The Second Phase presented a greater challenge, with Terceira and La Tamerina finishing in 48.05 seconds and incurring 16 penalty fault points. Their overall performance placed them 45th in the class.
Competing in international events like Peelbergen Outdoor provides valuable experience for Terceira as she continues to hone her skills and develop her partnerships with different horses on the European circuit. While podium finishes eluded her on this occasion, the exposure to this level of competition will be beneficial for future events.
