The 84th Annual Agricultural Exhibition drew to a close at the Botanical Gardens today, with the final day's equestrian events unfolding under a mix of weather. Despite a rainy start, the Main Ring eventually basked in bright sunshine as the competitions reached their climax.
The Driving Ponies in Hand, Trotting Bred (Racing Ponies) Class saw Stephanie Kempe and Its All About Me secure victory and lift the Worthy Castle Trophy.
In the Driving Ponies in Hand, Non-Trotting Bred Class, Harley Greenslade and Random Ranger took home the Noah's Ark Buckeye Trophy. The partnership of Nicole Cable and Random Ranger also proved successful in the Pleasure Driving Pony, Non-Trotting Bred Class, winning the Springbrook's Goodfellow Trophy.
Michael Watson riding Heza Coolsensation claimed the Angela Darrell Trophy in memory of Jason Jones & Western Pleasure Junior Champion Horse title in the Western Pleasure Horses and Ponies Class.
The Children’s Pleasure Driving Pony (Trottingbred) Class saw Chloe Mello and War Machine emerge victorious, earning the DHPC Plaque.
Roseland demonstrated consistent excellence throughout the show, earning the Highest Point award in the Western Horse Class with a total of 271 points.
The prestigious Best Driving Pony in Show Championship was awarded to It's All About Me, with War Machine named the Reserve Champion.
Individual achievements were also celebrated, with COURTNEY SIMS receiving THE FRED PIMENTEL AWARD FOR THE JUNIOR WITH MOST POINTS, and KIRISTA RABAIN taking home THE GEORGE KENIEN TROPHY FOR THE ADULT WITH THE MOST POINTS.
Despite the initial damp conditions, the final day of equestrian competition provided a fitting end to another successful Agricultural Exhibition, showcasing the dedication and skill of Bermuda's riders and their equine partners.
