Champions Crowned in RenaissanceRe 5 & 10 Mile Challenge

The RenaissanceRe 10 Mile Challenge and RenaissanceRe 5 Mile Challenge saw impressive performances as runners took to the roads to compete for top honors. Jake Brislane and Christine Dailey emerged victorious in the 10-mile race, while Marquis Burgess and Stepanka Sprincova claimed the 5-mile titles.

10 Mile Challenge: Brislane's Dominant Run

Jake Brislane secured a clear win in the 10-mile race, clocking an impressive time of 54 minutes and 38 seconds. The race for second place was a tighter contest, with Sean Trott finishing in 54 minutes and 52 seconds. Thomas Mills completed the men's podium, finishing third with a time of 57 minutes and 55 seconds.

10 Mile Challenge: Dailey Leads Women's Field

Christine Dailey was the first woman to cross the finish line in the 10-mile race, finishing 11th overall with a time of 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 18 seconds. Teresa Ruiz was the second female finisher and 16th overall, clocking 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 45 seconds. Ashley Pimentel rounded out the top three female finishers, coming in 20th overall with a time of 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 19 seconds.

5 Mile Challenge: Burgess Takes Top Spot

Marquis Burgess won the 5-mile race, completing the distance in 34 minutes. Numair Khan finished a close second with a time of 34 minutes and 12 seconds. Riley Brislane was the third male finisher, crossing the line in 4th place overall with a time of 37 minutes and 2 seconds.

5 Mile Challenge: Sprincova Claims Female Victory

Stepanka Sprincova led the women's field in the 5-mile race, finishing third overall with a time of 34 minutes and 23 seconds. Melissa Logie was the second female finisher and 11th overall, clocking 39 minutes and 14 seconds. Anna Laura Hocking was the third female finisher and 13th overall, with a time of 39 minutes and 50 seconds.

The RenaissanceRe 10 Mile and 5 Mile Challenges provided a platform for runners of varying abilities to compete and achieve personal goals. The event showcased the talent and dedication of Bermuda's running community.
