The Hyundai Archery World Cup commenced its 19th season, with the first of four stages taking place at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Central Florida. The event has drawn archers from around the world, including representatives from Bermuda.
Cameron Pickering and Jaydon Roberts are representing Bermuda at this prestigious international competition, building on their performances in the recent Bermuda Indoor Championships.
Both archers competed in the Men’s Recurve Qualifiers in some very challenging wind conditions.
Cameron Pickering finished 59th with a qualifying score of 608. Jaydon Roberts finished 63rd with a qualifying score of 566.
The Hyundai Archery World Cup is a major event in the archery calendar, providing a platform for elite archers to compete and showcase their skills. Pickering and Roberts' participation represents Bermuda's presence in international archery and offers them valuable experience on the world stage.
