Blake Montgomery and his London Knights teammates secured a 6-3 victory over the Owen Sound Attack in Game 2 of their Western Conference Quarter-Final Series, extending their series lead to 2-0.
The Knights continued their strong playoff performance, building on their Game 1 win with another decisive victory. However, despite the final scoreline, the second win proved to be a challenging contest.
Captain Denver Barkey was the standout performer for the Knights, scoring twice and adding three assists. His five-point night was crucial in leading the team to victory.
The series between London and the Attack now shifts to Owen Sound for Games 3 and 4, where the Knights will look to maintain their momentum.
Game 3 will be played on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Game 4 will happen on Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m.
The London Knights' 2-0 series lead puts them in a strong position as they progress through the OHL Playoffs. Montgomery and his teammates will be aiming to continue their winning ways as they travel to Owen Sound. The upcoming games will be crucial in determining the outcome of this Western Conference Quarter-Final series.
