Rams Crowned Champions & A Relegation Confirmed

The Bermuda Football Association's Premier Division season reached a dramatic climax, with the championship title decided and at least one relegation battle reached a conclusion. Meanwhile, the First Division also saw significant action.

PREMIER DIVISION

North Village Rams Take the Crown

North Village Rams have been crowned the 2024/25 Premier Division Champions. Their title-winning victory came at the Police Field, where they defeated Devonshire Colts 4-0.

North Village Rams took the lead in the 37th minute through Jonte Smith, carrying a 1-0 advantage into the half-time break.

Jai Bean doubled the lead in the 52nd minute, before an own goal in the 78th minute made it 3-0. Amir Dill completed the scoring in the 90th minute, securing a dominant 4-0 victory and confirming North Village Rams as champions.

Hamilton Parish Relegated

At the Wellington Oval, Hamilton Parish's fate was sealed as they became the first team to be officially relegated following a 5-2 defeat to the St. George’s Colts.

St. George’s Colts took an early lead through Senoj Mitchell, but Hamilton Parish equalized through Justin Bell. The teams went into the break level at 1-1.

Blaiz Hall put St. George’s Colts back in front, and Jahron Dickinson extended their lead to 3-1. Jordan Outerbridge pulled a goal back for Hamilton Parish, but Hall added his second goal, and Mitchell scored his second, securing a 5-2 win for St. George’s Colts.

FIRST DIVISION

Robin Hood Defeat Champions X-Roads

Robin Hood inflicted only the second league defeat of the season on champions X-Roads, winning 3-2 at the BAA Field.

Robin Hood raced to a 3-0 half-time lead, with goals from Zias Smith, Taurean Manders, and Chance Eve.

Donavan Thompson pulled a goal back for X-Roads in the 60th minute, and league-leading goalscorer Paul Simons scored in stoppage time, but Robin Hood held on for a 3-2 victory.

X-Road’s were presented the First Division Trophy following the match.

Somerset Trojans Thrash Somerset Eagles

The Somerset Trojans won the battle of Somerset, defeating the Somerset Eagles 8-0 at White Hill Field. Kenyi Mills was the star, scoring a hat-trick, with Kymani McNeil, Jaden Rattery-Smith, Enrique Mendes (2), and Jahnai Ratteray also contributing to the rout.

Vasco Edge Out St. David's

At the Wellington Oval, Vasco secured a 2-1 victory over St. David's. Rychus Symonds gave Vasco the lead in first-half stoppage time, and Kevin Arruda doubled their advantage from the penalty spot. Kontai Burton scored a late consolation goal for St. David's.
