On a Bermudaful Day the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street was the venue for the RES Show Series, No. 2, which showcased a day of exciting equestrian competition.
The .95m Horse Jumping Class saw Philip Correia and Poker Face emerge as the winners. They delivered a strong performance to claim the top spot. Vicki Steele, riding Rambo, finished second, while Alex McMartin, mounted on Hornelli, secured third place.
Correia and Poker Face continued their success, achieving a double victory by also winning the 1.10m Horse Jumping Class. Abby Bardgett, riding Hornelli, finished second in this class, demonstrating her skill and consistency. Courtney Sims, aboard Carina, claimed third place.
The Open Equitation Up To 2 feet 9 inches Over Fences Class was won by Ryan Wright on Up, Up & Away. Melody Greenslade, riding Grey Goose, finished second, and Nina Wehmeyer, mounted on Quality Time, secured third place.
In the Modified Equitation 2 feet 6 inches under Saddle Adults Class, Courtney Bromby, riding Colbi Moon, was declared the winner. Nathalie Rushe, riding Lollipop, finished second, and Tonae Tavares, riding Kool Blu, claimed third place.
The RES Show Series, No. 2, provided a platform for Bermuda's equestrian athletes to showcase their talents across various disciplines. The event highlighted the skill and dedication of the riders, with Correia and Bardgett achieving particularly impressive results.
