The PCC Hockey rink witnessed a flurry of goals in a single, high-octane Bermuda ball hockey clash, as Spine & Sport rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat ACT 9-5.

The match, characterized by its explosive first two periods, saw all 14 goals crammed into a breathless display of attacking hockey. The opening period set the tone for the night, with ACT initially seizing the initiative. Satish Balendran opened the scoring for ACT, only for Randy Elgersma to swiftly level proceedings for Spine & Sport.
Bill McClure then restored ACT's lead, but Spine & Sport responded again, this time through Jeremy Estey. Adam Mattatall then edged ACT back in front, sending them into the second period with a slender 3-2 advantage.
ACT came out firing in the second period. McClure grabbed his second of the night, extending their lead to 4-2, before Townie Jackson added a fifth, seemingly putting ACT firmly in control. However, Spine & Sport then launched a remarkable comeback, scoring seven unanswered goals to turn the game on its head.
Ross Rufiage spearheaded the Spine & Sport revival, netting a superb hat-trick. Estey, who had already found the net in the first period, completed his own hat-trick and added a fourth goal to his tally, showcasing his clinical finishing. Ryan Marshall also contributed, adding the crucial seventh goal that completed the turnaround.
The sheer volume of goals, particularly in the second period, highlighted the attacking intent of both teams. While ACT started strongly, Spine & Sport's resilience and clinical finishing ultimately proved decisive. The dramatic shift in momentum provided an enthralling spectacle for the fans in attendance.
