For the second consecutive week, Appleby proved too strong for Positive Image Dental, securing an identical 6-1 victory in the opening match.
The first period set the tone with three goals: Israel Guzman and Jeff Morash put Appleby 2-0 up, before Craig Rowat pulled one back for Positive Image Dental to end the period at 2-1.
The second period saw a tighter affair, with Jordan Gunter scoring the only goal to extend Appleby's lead to 3-1. Appleby then sealed the win in the third and final period, with Rob Osborne, Jordan Gunter (his second of the night), and Adrien Faucher all finding the back of the net.

The third period saw Hamilton Princess mount a spirited fightback, with Riley Latour and Jeff Ingelman both scoring to reduce the deficit to 5-3. However, Tremblay netted his second of the night for BDA Spirits, restoring their three-goal cushion and securing the 6-3 victory.
