Archers Conclude Vegas Shoot with Strong Performances

Bermuda's Archers have concluded their participation in the Vegas Shoot 2025, the world's largest indoor archery tournament, with notable performances across the board.

Following Robin Selley's impressive sixth-place finish in the Recurve Young Adult Female Division, the Men's Recurve Flights Division took centre stage.

Camerin Pickering, Jaydon Roberts, and Robert O'Connor faced a challenging final day in the highly competitive Men's Recurve Flights Division, which featured 414 archers divided into 12 groups. Group 1 consisted of the top performers from the previous two days.

Jaydon Roberts, competing in the elite Group 1, demonstrated his consistency, finishing 32nd in the group with a final score of 824 out of a possible 900. He shot 261 on the final day, maintaining a respectable level of performance against the top archers.

Camerin Pickering delivered a standout performance, winning Group 2. He shot an impressive 287 on the final day, bringing his total score to 843 out of 900. Pickering's strong finish showcased his skill and determination.

Robert O'Connor, competing in Group 10, finished 21st in his group with a final score of 670 out of 900. He shot 232 on the final day, contributing to his overall score.

The Vegas Shoot 2025 provided a challenging and rewarding experience for the Bermuda archers. Their participation in such a prestigious tournament highlights the growing talent and dedication within the sport in Bermuda.
