The Bermuda Field Hockey League returned to action at the National Sports Center with a decisive victory for the Pink Robins, who overcame the Ravens 3-1 in a spirited encounter.
The Pink Robins, keen to pick up where they left off before the break, displayed a clinical edge in front of goal, securing a well-deserved win.
The deadlock was broken in the 12th minute when Izzy Pugh converted a penalty corner, sending a powerful strike past the Ravens' goalkeeper. The Pink Robins' early dominance was rewarded with a crucial opening goal.
Just before half-time, in the 34th minute, Jen Chisnall doubled the Pink Robins' advantage with a well-taken field goal. The Ravens struggled to contain the Pink Robins' attacking threat, and the scoreline reflected their dominance.
The Pink Robins continued their momentum into the second half, and in the 54th minute, Heather Sinclair added a third goal, further cementing their lead. Another field goal, this one bringing the score to 3-0, seemed to seal the deal.
The Ravens, however, refused to give up and showed their resilience by pulling a goal back in the 59th minute. Megan Troake found the back of the net with a well-placed field goal, providing a late consolation for her team.
