Blake Montgomery scored as his London Knights teammates cruised to an 8-4 victory over the Barrie Colts in Ontario Hockey League action at Sadlon Arena.
Kasper Halttunen and Logan Hawery each scored twice for the Midwest Division-leading Knights (41-8-1-0), who hold the No. 1 spot in this week's Canadian Hockey League Top 10 rankings. Denver Barkey, William Nicholl, and Landon Sim also found the net for London. Sam O'Reilly contributed three assists, while Barkey added two helpers.
With the score at 3-2, Montgomery extended London's lead, firing home a pass from O'Reilly just before the midway point of the second period to make it 4-2.
