Sean Trott and Gayle Lindsay emerged victorious in the Male and Female categories respectively at the Ed Sherlock 8K Road Race, the first event in the Swan's Legend 2025 Series.
Trott dominated the men's race, finishing a commanding one minute and 35 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor, Christopher Harris. Trott's winning time was 27:59.24, while Harris clocked 29:34.23. Jake Smith completed the podium, finishing third in 30:06.13.
Lindsay also produced a dominant performance in the women's race. She crossed the line in 30:41.65, over two minutes ahead of the second female finisher, Teresa Ruiz. Ruiz, the sixteenth runner overall, finished in 33:10.46. Stepanka Sprincova was the third female finisher and eighteenth overall, with a time of 33:31.42.
