Runners lined up outside West Pembroke School for the start of the 2025 Bermuda Union of Teachers (BUT) 5K race. Philip Woollins and Stepanka Sprincova emerged as the male and female champions, respectively.
Woollins crossed the finish line in a winning time of 17:22. Dominique Mayho secured second place in 17:48, while Matt Boys finished third in 18:10.
Sprincova was the sixth runner overall to complete the course, clocking a time of 19:48 to take the female title. Nina Coetzer was the second female finisher and 12th overall (20:37), with Sarah Ryan coming in third among the women and 18th overall (21:59).
In the schools categories, Sanchez Smith and Carina Bortoli were crowned the Male and Female Senior School Champions. Timothy Pearman and Sukanya Jobson took the titles in the Middle School category, while Khaleef Daley and Yara Muhammad were the champions in the Upper Primary School category.
