The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the Bermuda Union of Teachers 1.6k and 5k Run/Walk will occur on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
The RACE ROUTES will see the 1.6k race commences and concludes at the West Pembroke School compound. The participants exit left onto North Shore Road and proceed West to the turnaround point. They traverse the turnaround point and head East on North Shore Road to return to the finish line at the West Pembroke School.
The 5k race commences and concludes at the West Pembroke School compound. The participants exit left onto North Shore Road and proceed West. They turn left onto St. John's Road and then right onto Pitts Bay Road. The participants turn left onto Serpentine Road and then left onto Woodlands Road. They turn right onto Euclid Avenue and then left onto St. John's Road. The participants turn right onto Berkeley Road and then left onto North Shore Road. They proceed West to the finish line at the West Pembroke School.
The races will commence on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, at 9:00 am and are expected to conclude by 11:00 am. Race Marshals will be present to direct traffic along the route. All motorists are expected to use caution and avoid collisions with the race participants. Motorists are asked to follow the instructions given by the Race Marshals to assist with traffic control for this event.
There will be no road closures for this event.

In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorized to "Close off' streets or portions of streets and authorize parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
