Paul Fedden, the President of the Bermuda Snooker Association & Director of the Board of the International Snooker League (ISL) wrote an article for the media yesterday.
Fedden wrote, “The Bermuda Snooker Association is hosting the International Snooker League (ISL) Tournament at Spanish Point Boat Club, May 20th through May 24th this year.
We have 30 international players flying in to take part as well as 6 local players in what promises to be a fantastic tournament!
Rounding off this sensational, event, we are pleased to announce that 3 times World Professional Snooker Champion and current world number 6, Mark J Willams MBE & former World Seniors Champion and World renowned coach, Lee Walker, will be flying in to play a fantastic exhibition match on Sunday, May 25th, also at Spanish Point Boat Club.
We haven't seen such high profile figures in the snooker world on the island for some 30 years or more, so it promises to be a spectacle to be remembered for generations!”
