Bermudian runner Dage Minors battled freezing temperatures to secure a strong seventh-place finish at the EA South West Club & County Cross Country Championships 2025.
The Royal Naval Air Station Merryfield, known as RNAS Merryfield, provided a challenging course for the competitors, with muddy conditions underfoot. Thankfully, the absence of wind and rain provided some respite from the bitter cold.
Minors, representing Bristol & West AC, navigated the tough terrain effectively, crossing the line in a time of 24:11. His clubmates dominated the race, with Jack Millar taking victory in 23:11 and Felix McGrath securing second place in 23:28.
This impressive display of individual strength translated into team success, as Bristol & West AC comfortably claimed first place in the Senior Men's Club Team Results with a total of 36 points.
