Goodwill Bermuda Pro-Am Heats Up in Round 2

The Goodwill Bermuda Pro-Am is in full swing, and Round 2 delivered another day of spectacular golf across three of the island's stunning courses. With teams jockeying for position and individual honors up for grabs, the competition was fierce under sunny Bermuda skies.

Belmont Hills: Metropolis GC Takes Charge

At Belmont Hills, the Metropolis Golf Club team, led by pro Craig Thomas and featuring Gary Kaye, Don Chaplin, and Robert Bernstein, fired a sizzling 14-under-par 56 to claim the Low Net round of the day. Doug Wade from Jupiter Golf Club unleashed a monster drive on the 12th hole to capture the Longest Drive honors, while Johann Hunter from Tuckers Point Club showcased his precision with the closest-to-the-pin on the 17th. Thomas himself led the Pro Stableford points with a solid 26.

Port Royal: Sleepy Hollow GC Dominates

Sleepy Hollow Golf Club 2, led by pro Kyle Cassidy and featuring Zachary Bodmer, Rick Christofer, and Miraj Patel, stole the show at Port Royal with an impressive 13-under-par 58 to secure the Low Net round. Bodmer also showcased his power off the tee, bombing a drive on the 18th to claim the Longest Drive. Danny Lavecchia from Sebonack Golf Club demonstrated his accuracy with the closest-to-the-pin on the 16th. Camiko Smith from Waccabuc Golf Club leads the Pro Stableford race with 22 points.

Tuckers Point: Connecticut GC Fires Low Round

The Connecticut Golf Club team, led by pro Peter Ballo and featuring Skip Wells, Jim Mecca, and William Cusick, posted a phenomenal 11-under-par 57 to capture the low net round at Tuckers Point. Cusick also unleashed a long bomb on the 7th hole for the longest drive, while Donovan Livingston from Ocean View Golf Club showcased his touch with the closest-to-the-pin on the 2nd. It is believed that Ballo shot a new course record at Tuckers Point Club with a 61 to lead the Pro Stableford competition with an impressive 28 points

With two rounds down, the Goodwill Bermuda Pro-Am is shaping up to be a thrilling finish. Teams will be vying for the top spot on the leaderboard, while individual players will be battling for bragging rights and those coveted prizes.
