Belmont Hills: St. Andrews Links Sets the Pace
At Belmont Hills, the team from St. Andrews Links, led by pro Cole Lum and featuring Kyle Lum, Dick Morton, and Tim MacKlaier, fired a sizzling 15-under-par 55 to claim the Low Net round of the day. Chris Berry from Baltusrol Golf Club unleashed a monster drive on the 12th hole to take home the Longest Drive honors, while Ed Vomastek from Crystal Downs Golf Club showcased his precision with the Closest-to-the-Pin on the 17th. Essex County Country Club's Jack O'Hara led the Pro Stableford points with a solid 25.
Port Royal: Ocean View GC Takes Charge
The local favorites from Ocean View Golf Club, led by pro OJ Pitcher and featuring Shannon Trott, Donovan Livingston, and Tracy Nash, posted an impressive 11-under-par 60 to capture the Low Net round at Port Royal. Chris Webber from The Connecticut Golf Club 2 team bombed a drive on the 18th to claim the Longest Drive, while Jack Haight from Trump National GC Bedminster stuck his approach shot close on the 16th for the Closest-to-the-Pin. Peter Ballo from The Connecticut Golf Club 1 team leads the Pro Stableford race with 23 points.
Tuckers Point: AON Sponsor Team Shines
At Tuckers Point, the AON Sponsor Team, featuring Pro Dwayne Pearman, Seamus Durkin, Mike Fisher, and Joe Rego, carded an 11-under-par 59 to secure the Low Net round. Dave Walsh from Jupiter Country Club unleashed a long bomb on the 7th hole for the Longest Drive, while Bushara Bushara from Riverside Golf Club demonstrated his accuracy with the Closest-to-the-Pin on the 2nd. Pearman himself leads the Pro Stableford competition with 23 points.
