Sean Trott and Estienne Coetzee delivered impressive performances to claim victory in the Red Cross Jingle Bell 5K Run. The festive race saw runners of all ages and abilities hit the streets, spreading holiday cheer and pushing themselves to the finish line.
Trott led the Men's field from start to finish, crossing the line in a time of 16:34. Jake Smith finished second in 17:01 and Sanchez Smith took third in 17:04.
Coetzee was equally impressive in the Women's race. She finished 10th overall with a time of 18:09, showcasing her speed and endurance. Megan Berry was the second female finisher, crossing the line in 18:17, while Stepanka Sprincova rounded out the top three with a time of 19:22.
The Red Cross Jingle Bell 5K is a popular event on the Bermuda running calendar, attracting both serious competitors and casual runners. The festive atmosphere, with many participants donning Santa hats and holiday-themed attire, added to the excitement of the race.
