Trott & Lindsay Gobble Up Victory at Turkey Trot
Sean Trott and Gayle Lindsay carved their names into the books, claiming victory at the 2024 Swans Running Club/Northshore Medical Turkey Trot. Trott devoured the 8K course with a winning time of 27:23, leaving the competition in his dust.
Philip Woollins chased Trott to the finish line, securing second place in 28:31. Tim Price rounded out the men's podium with a time of 29:48.
Lindsay, proving she's no turkey, crossed the line in 31:03, good for 7th overall and first among female runners. Stepanka Sprincova sprinted to a second-place finish among women and 9th overall with a time of 32:49. Teresa Ruiz completed the women's podium in third place and 11th overall, clocking in at 33:37.
This annual Thanksgiving Day race saw runners of all ages and abilities hit the pavement, burning off those pre-feast calories. But it was Trott and Lindsay who stole the show, showcasing their speed and endurance to claim the coveted Turkey Trot titles.
Minors Shines in Cross Country & Butterfield Tackles Marathon
It was a busy weekend for Bermudian distance runners, with Dage Minors tackling the Cross Country course in the UK while Tyler Butterfield took on the Marathon Distance in Spain.

Minors, representing Bristol and West Athletic Club, laced up his spikes for the John H Collins Gwent Cross Country League at Blaise Castle in Bristol.
Facing a stacked field of 427 runners in the Senior Men's 8.8k race, Minors delivered an impressive performance, crossing the line in 5th place with a time of 28:14.
This strong result highlights Minors' continued excellence in Cross Country, in his first proper Cross Country race since 2016 .
Tyler Butterfield
Tyler Butterfield continued his Marathon globetrotting, competing in his 8th marathon of 2024 at the 44th Trinidad Alfonso Zurich Valencia Marathon.
Butterfield, a seasoned veteran of the marathon distance, clocked a time of 2:25:59, finishing 295th overall and 30th in the competitive Men’s 40 Division.
This performance adds another impressive result to Butterfield's long list of marathon accomplishments, demonstrating his enduring dedication to the sport.
