Ryan Outerbridge and the Franklin Pierce University Men's Cross Country team secured a commendable fourth-place finish at the 2024 NCAA DII East Regional Championships hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, New York.
Southern Connecticut State University claimed the Men's team title with 54 points, while Franklin Pierce accumulated 141 points, finishing ahead of 14 other competing institutions.
Outerbridge delivered an outstanding performance, leading Franklin Pierce with a seventh-place finish overall. His time of 31:47 earned him All-East Region honors, highlighting his exceptional speed and endurance.
Logan Mihelich followed as the second Franklin Pierce runner to cross the finish line, securing 32nd place with a time of 32:46. First-year runner Sam Fortin impressed with a 34th-place finish (32:54), demonstrating his potential for future success.
Angel Mendo Alonso (37th, 32:58), Declan Morgan (43rd, 33:14), Harrison Pelosi (52nd, 33:27), and Liam Doherty (67th, 34:02) contributed valuable points to the team's overall score, showcasing the depth and talent within the Franklin Pierce squad.
