The Bermuda Netball Association’s Senior League season got underway with the North Village Lady Rams defeating the St. George’s Lady Colts 51 - 24.
Darrika Simons led the North Village Lady Rams to victory with 29 goals, Jordyn Morris added 14 goals, and Coriah Simmons scored 8 goals, their Best Attacker was Taahira Butterfield, their Best Defender was Jada Richards, and their MVP was Zhanae Simmons.
The St. George’s Lady Colts got 14 goals from Best Attacker Nisaiah Berkeley, while Kristin Holman added 10 goals, Jasmaine Adams was named the Best Defender and MVP.
In the other match, the Tigers defeated Hamilton Parish 64 - 10. Candace Paynter led the Tigers to victory with 22 goals, Best Attacker JahTuere Trott added 20 goals, Nahje Rayner scored 12 goals, and JahKenya Trott scored 10 goals, the Best Defender was Demiqua Daniels, and Micah Pond was the MVP.
Kiara Francis scored 7 goals for Hamilton Parish, Best Attacker Kessiah Jackson scored twice, and Kylah Hunt scored once, Alexis Pascall was named the teams Best Defender and MVP.
