The rolling hills of Cary, North Carolina, bore witness to the Adidas Cross Country Challenge—a crucible of endurance, determination, and raw athleticism. Among the sea of runners, Cameron Adkins and his Christ School Men’s Cross Country teammates carved their paths, each stride echoing commitment.
In the Boys Championship 5k Division, at the finish line, Adkins claimed the 167th spot, in a time of 17:23. The course had tested him, the terrain unforgiving.
But the race belonged to Ty Steorts, he clocked 14:37, claiming the victory, Adkins, was 5:35 adrift.
Christ School finished with 408 points, which earned them the 11th position overall.
