Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University Cross Country teammates were back on the course as they competed in the Julius Johnson Invitational.
Clayton State were led by their junior captain Camron Gaddis who finished in 11th overall with a time of 25:26.74, while Smith was the 54th runner across the line clocking 29:27.86.
The men finished in third place with 84 points, while Mercer University, the meet host earned the team and individual victory.
