Hamilton Parish Workmen’s Club (“HPWC” or “the Club”) is thrilled to announce the exciting return of the Hamilton Parish Youth Soccer Programme (“HPYSP” or “Youth Programme”), a cornerstone of our commitment to grassroots football development. HPYSP offers young children the perfect introduction to the beautiful game, fostering both skill development and a love for sports within our local community.
Focused on nurturing the next generation of players, our program welcomes children aged 3 to 5 years old. With a strong emphasis on fun, teamwork, and physical activity, we provide a positive and encouraging environment for our youngest footballers to develop their talents while making lasting friendships. The Youth Programme, led by Head Coach Makhail Saltus, facilitated its first training session on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, with parents and young footballers enjoying an evening on the field of Shelly Bay Community Park.
Parents searching for the perfect extracurricular activity for their little ones are invited to register their interest today. Our program not only teaches football fundamentals but also promotes confidence, discipline, and healthy living—key life skills that benefit children both on and off the field.
“The return of our Youth Football Program is about more than just football,” says Club President, Nandi Outerbridge, “It’s about building a community of young players and families who share a passion for the sport. We can’t wait to welcome your child to the program and watch them grow!”
Coach Saltus added, “It was a good feeling to be back at Shelly Bay and this season looks like it will be a promising one for our youth programme.”
Registration is still open, so don’t miss this opportunity to give your child an early start in football! Join us in creating a foundation of 293 excellence and joy in sport right here in Hamilton Parish.
