The Peach Belt Conference announced its preseason coaches' poll for the upcoming Cross Country Season.
Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University Men's teammates were picked to finish fifth, Augusta was picked to win the Men's title.
Last season, Coach Troy Hickom's Men's team finished in fifth out of nine teams and rising junior Camron Gaddis led the team with a 40th-place finish with a time of 27:35.4.
The PBC Cross Country Championships, who are hosted by North Georgia, takes place on Saturday, October 26th in Gainesville, Ga. The Clayton State Cross Country teams open their season on Friday, September 6th as they travel to Milledgeville to compete in the Georgia Military College Brickyard Invitational. Action on Friday begins at 5:45 p.m.
