The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) announced the recipients of its prestigious National Academy Awards. These awards recognize outstanding young football talent and provide opportunities for players to further develop their skills through intensive personalized training.
The Kenneth “Smokey” Thompson Sponsorship Award by PartnerRe was presented to Evans Welch who plays for the Under 17 National Girls Team.

The Lesley White Sponsorship Award was bestowed upon Jahni Simmons who plays for the Senior Women’s National Team.

The scholarship was set up to help send female football players overseas for camps and training, to give them an opportunity to be seen by overseas coaches and teams."
DaRock Elite Performance Sponsorship Award went to Harlem Bean-Fox who plays for the Under 17 National Boys Team.
