Bermuda Netball Summer League action resumed at Bernard’s Park with action in two Divisions.
Women’s Division
The PHC Ladies edged the Lady Stars 11 – 10, Tyra Simmons led the PHC Ladies to victory with 6 goals, while Best Defender and MVP Inshanae Smith added 4 goals, and Sonja Townsend scored once, Jordyn Ming was named the team’s Best Attacker. The Lady Stars were led by MVP Julesa Robinson who scored 7 goals, while Moriah Bridgewater added the other 3 goals, the team’s Best Attacker was Kristin Signor, while the Best Defender was Sudan Reid.
The St. George’s Ladies and the BPSU Ladies ended their match even at 21, MVP Nisaiah Berkeley scored 15 goals for the St. George’s Ladies, while Best Attacker Druw Bascome added the other 6 goals, and the team’s Best Defender was Jasmine Adams. The BPSU Ladies got 20 goals from MVP Charlene Bogle, while Best Attacker Donnisha Gardner added the other goal, with Demiqua Daniels named the Best Defender.
Co-Ed Division
BPSU defeated the Front Street Mafia 33 – 14. BPSU got 12 goals from MVP Sheldon Bahadosingh, Best Attacker Charlene Bogle added 10 goals, Best Defender Jahmari Lewis-Trott scored 7 goals, and Demiqua Daniels scored 4 times. BPSU got 13 goals from Charlotte Evans, and one goal from Andrew Kemp, the team’s Best Attacker was Olivia Bugg, the Best Defender was Jana Philips, and the MVP was Alex Godet.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Goal Diggers 31 – 14. Darrika Simons led the North Village Lady Rams to victory with 23 goals, Taahira Butterfield added 6 goals, and Best Attacker Shi Jennings scored twice, the team’s Best Defender was Quinn Simmons, and the MVP was Milan Butterfield. The Goal Diggers got 7 goals from Best Attacker Jahmir Hatherley, MVP Sydney Santos added 6 goals, and Lyndon Guiseppi scored once, the team’s Best Defender was Brittni-Ann Brown.
