WFA Surf Challenge Tournament, Day One
Warwick Football Academy (WFA) is with the International Development Academy at the New England Surf Challenge Tournament, Day One saw plenty of positives.

The WFA Under 13 Girls edged the 2011 New England Surf New Metro Sky 1 – 0, with a goal from Annabelle Shah.

With goals from Lee Terceira, Ariya Samuels, Aoife Murray, Rhiannon Rushe, the WFA Under 10 Girls defeated New England Surf Metro West 4 – 0.

The WFA Under 11 Girls defeated Girls New England Surf Metro West Sky 1 – 0, with a lone strike from Banmai Gutteridge.

Archie Simmons-Astwood scored 6 goals to lead the WFA Under 12 Boys to a 7 – 4 victory over Aztec Boston Boys 2012, Luke Readdy added the other.

The WFA Under 9 Boys defeated New England Surf Charlestown 8 – 1, Levi Mello scored a hat-trick, with Carter Archibald, Finley Ronaldson, Seb Hughes, Tanner Corriea, and an own goal accounting for the other goals.

The WFA Under 10 Girls won their second match of the day 2 – 0 defeating NEFC Metro North Girls 2014 Red, with goals from Aofie Murray, and Rushe.

Game Two for the WFA Under 11 Girls ended in a scoreless draw with the Lightning Soccer Club 2013 Girls Green.

The WFA Under 10 Boys defeated SFC New England 2014B White 6 – 1, Eoin Muirhead would lead the way with 4 goals, while Jeremy Ngaruiya, and Nick Luber added the other goals.

The WFA Under 9 Boys won their second game by default, they would prevail in a friendly against New England Surf Metro BostonSky 2015 Boys.

The WFA Under 12 Boys defeated New England Surf Charlestown U12 Boys 4 – 2 in their second match, Simmons-Astwood would lead the way with a hat-trick, with Readdy adding the other.

The WFA Under 10 Boys won their second game defeating the New England Surf Metro West Sky 4 – 0, Luber found the back of the net twice, while Eoin Muirhead, and Owen Fosker added a goal each.
