The 2024 Legends Race Series got underway with the running of the Ed Sherlock 8K Road Race, which saw Sean Trott, and Gayle Lindsay crowned the Male and Female Champions.
Trott clocked a winning time of 27:45, Chayce Smith was second in 28:00, and Thomas Mills rounded out the Men’s podium.
Lindsay would cross the line 9th overall to claim the Women’s title in a time of 31:31, Stepanka Sprincova was the second female finisher with a time of 34:19 crossing the line 18th overall, and the third female finisher was Megan Berry who was the 24th runner across the line in a time of 34:49.
