Bermuda sadly finish the Senior CASA tournament with a 4-1 loss to Barbados to finish 4th place. This was one spot higher than we were expecting so are quite pleased. Todays match was clear that we were all feeling some injuries and struggled to fight hard. Micah Franklin won his match 3-0 and the other boys all lost there’s.
Glad to finish the tournament in 4th and build on this for next year. Bermuda sadly lost in the Semi-Finals 3-1 in matches last night against top seeds Guyana in a challenging encounter. All the boys gave it everything they could, fighting through a lot of aches and pains after all the squash they’ve played this week. Matthew Elliott and Anthony Fellowes had to play very strong opponents in the 4th and 5th string both losing 3-0. I then went on at the #1 string and won 3-1 after a slow start in game one. Came down to Anaya Smith who played fantastically last night against Jamaica. He yet again played some of his best squash but sadly lost 3-1 to a strong opponent. Taylor Carrick did not need to play last as the match was already decided.
