Snooker play saw action in the Bermuda Open Singles and Tony DeSilva Memorial Cup.
Aaron Bean defeated Zane DeSilva 2 - 0 in the First Round of Bermuda Open Singles.
Bean took an early lead when he defeated DeSilva 44-24 in the 1st game.
With it all to do in the 2nd, DeSilva was unable to turn the screw, succumbing to Bean's onslaught, taking the 2nd game and match, 58-30.
Bean now faces snooker veteran, Tyler Moniz in the Second Round.
Spanish Point's Chris Dakin defeated Sandy's Paul Fedden 2-0 in the Tony DeSilva Memorial Cup Second Round.
Dakin stormed ahead, taking the 1st game comfortably, 60-39.
It was Dakin who again stamped his authority in the 2nd game, sending one of the tournament favorites crashing out, when he sealed his famous win over Fedden in a conceiving 62-35 win.
Dakin now faces the winner of Warwick's Richard Burton and Spanish Point's Tyler Moniz in the Quarter Final.
