The Bermuda Snooker League got underway with two matches completed.
Spanish Point Boat Club Two (SPBC2) 3 Warwick Workmen’s Club One (WWC1) 2
Chance McLean raced into an early lead for SPBC2 when he took the 1st of 2 games against WWC's Richard Burton, 50-32, but Burton leveled the score in the next game claiming victory 54-32.
Tyler Moniz restored the lead for SPBC2 in the next game when he defeated WWC's Gary Bascombe 46-34
Damon Hanley leveled for WWC in the next, defeating reigning Bermuda Open Champion John Orr 46-34.
The doubles match was the decider as WWC1 claimed the victory, as Moniz/Orr defeated Bascombe/Hanley 68-21 to clinch the match.
Watford Sports Club (WSC) 3 Warwick Workmen’s Club Two (WWC2) 2
Scott Barnes opened the scoring for WWC2 when he took the 1st of 2 games against Watford's Keino Zuill 61-42, Zuill hit back in the 2nd however when he won it 60-33.
Aaron Bean gave Watford the lead after defeating Warwick's Lorenzo Tucker 50-10.
WWC2 levelled the match at 2-2 when Steven Bremar defeated Watford's Winslow Smith 65-35 in the next.
The match would be decided in the doubles, with Bean/Mouchette clinched the win for Watford when they defeated Bremar/Tucker 44-32.
