Rachel Barnes took to the court in the Women’s Singles, she would defeat Chloe Walcott from Trinidad in a four-set battle that took 26 minutes to complete.
Barnes won the first game 11-2, she would then take a 2 – 0 lead after she won the second game 11-6. Walcott pulled a game back winning the third game 11-8, but Barnes would close out the match by winning the fourth game 11-7.
James Dodgson would face Kasun Abeysekera from the Cayman Island in his Men’s Singles First Round match falling in 30 minutes, in four matches.
Dodgson won the first game 11-9, Abeysekera won would level the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second game 11-7, Abeysekera would then take a 2 – 1 lead after winning the third game 11-2, Abeysekera closed out the match winning the fourth game 11-6.
