Two Issues Cancel Opener No Answer from National Security & Weather

The Bermuda Power Boat Association Commodore Robert Cardwell has confirmed that the Power Boat Racing Season has been delayed yet again.
Cardwell said, “Sadly we are forced to cancel scheduled racing this coming Sunday.
There are two issues at hand.
The first!
Despite our best efforts we still do not have official approval from the Ministry of National Security. The Premier has indicated we have moved to phase 3 for sport, but we cannot find anywhere and cannot get answers as to what this means as it relates to Bermuda Power Boat Association.
This has been hard work and we have reached out to the Ministry on many occasions and come up empty each time for answers.
The second issue is that the weather does not look good for this Sunday.
Our next scheduled race day shall be Sunday, June 13th.
We will be working hard to make this day go ahead since we have had to cancel our first three races of the season.
Get the boats and jet skis ready and let’s make the season kick-off day June 13th an awesome well-attended racing day.
I very much look forward to seeing all your faces then/there!”
