In the opener, Sandy's Martin Siese and Peter Bromby defeated Spanish Point's Billy Wotton and John Orr in the Bermuda Open Doubles Final.
Siese & Bromby won the first game 61 – 48, they would then take a 2 – 0 lead when they won game two 44 – 31. Wotton & Orr would get themselves back into the match when they won the third game 49 – 14, but Siese & Bromby closed the door when they won the fourth game and the match 50-39.
The Bermuda Open Singles saw Warwick Workmen’s Club’s Steven Bremar retained the Title by defeating Watford Sports Club’s Keino Zuill 4 - 3 in a 7 game thriller!
Zuill won the first game 54 – 33, but Bremar would level the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second game 42 – 41.
Bremar would then take a comfortable 3 – 1, this after he won the third game 69 – 14 and then the fourth game 67 – 19.
Zuilll would then stage a comeback winning the fifth and sixth games 68 – 29 and 79 – 31 to level the match at 3 – 3.
The seventh and final game would see Bremar pick up a 64 – 23 victory to reclaim the title.
