Noah Browne and Micah Franklin were back on the court in Men’s Singles Second Round action on Day Two of the Pan American Squash Championships going on in the Cayman Islands.
Browne would take on Cameron Stafford from the Cayman Islands, the pair would battle for 56 minutes with Stafford winning 3 – 2.
Stafford won the first game 11-8, but Browne would draw level winning the second game 11-4, Stafford would go back in front winning the third game 11-8, but once again Browne would dig deep and win the fourth game 12-10. The fifth and final game would be a see-saw battle that Stafford would eventually win 11-9 to advance.
Franklin would go down in a 54 minute battle against Diego Gobbi from Brazil 3 – 1.
Gobbi would win the first game 15-13, but Franklin took control of the second game winning 11-4, Gobbi would then go back in front winning game three 12-10, but then he would close out the match winning the fourth game 11-2.
