Ayleal Dill, Seke Spence, and their Ilkeston Town FC Under 23 teammate's defeated current Nottinghamshire Senior League champions Stapleford Town 3 – 1 on the road.
Dill had a great chance to get the game's opening goal, but the shot went inches wide, Dill did help create the Ilkeston opener as he picked up an assist to teammate Keiran Cummings first goal of the game putting Ilkeston ahead 1-0.
With the score remaining 1 – 0, the second half started and the young Ilkeston team came out the stronger team moving the ball nicely, Cummings went on to score his second goal, doubling the Ilkeston lead.
The Ilkeston third goal came from the penalty spot, Dill race the ball towards goal when he was brought down inside the box, with teammate Mitchell Tait stepping up to convert.
Spence had a solid performance in the midfield with his runs on and off the ball causing Stapleford loads of trouble.
Due to a hamstring injury Mazhi Simmons, missed out on the match.
