 Jaaziah Van-Lowe has been called up to be the goalkeeper for the Basildon District.
In the UK, each district has a football team, they usually pick the best players for the team.
Van Lowe said, “I have not been here long, but to be selected is a big accomplishment. I was actually lost for words when I found out.”
Van-Lowe expressed gratitude to those who have helped him thus far, “I'd like to thank everyone for all your support. Special thanks to my mom and dad for encouraging me and giving me pointers, my papa and brother for playing football with me even when they didn't want to, my #1 godpa Freddie for giving me support/pointers and a laugh especially when I am down, coaches and teachers who have supported me, coach Cooper for still being there for me, family and friends who take time out to send me messages as it means a lot.”
