The Bermuda Football Association held their Women’s Football Symposium entitled “Stay Ready”.
The symposium and activities began Friday at the BFA’s Clyde Best Centre of Excellence and then things moved to the North Hall Lecture Theatre of the Bermuda College today.
The BFA Women’s Football Committee had confirmed David Bascome, a recent inductee into the Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame as the guest speaker, but the former Bermuda International was unable to travel to Bermuda, however Bascome did put together a presentation for all in attendance.
BFA Women’s Football Committee Chairperson Charryse Bean said, “The aim of the symposium was to provide a forum where Girls and Women can have another opportunity to network and have open discussions and dialogue.”
“The symposium also challenge the participants to understand the importance of staying ready on and off the field for all opportunities that come in life,” concluded Bean.
