Although U.S.A Under-20 Women’s National Team claimed its record sixth CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship with a 4-1 triumph over Mexico recently, a little bit of Bermuda would get some credit.
Mia Fishel the niece of Former national Football coach Andrew Bascome, current National Cricket coach Herbie Bascome and recently inducted Baltimore Blast Hall of Famer David Bascome scored twice in the Final.
Fishel made history with her 13th goal of the competition in the Final a feat that saw her take home the Golden Ball presented by Scotiabank Futbol Club.
