MacQuille Walker, Zenawi Bowen, Micah Mendes and their Thomas College Men's Soccer teammates advanced to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Final for the eighth time in ten years with a 2-1 victory over SUNY Canton at Maine Maritime Academy.
Meanwhile the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced its end of season awards for Men's Soccer and five Thomas College players including Bowen have been honored.
Thomas got on the board in the 25th minute when Josh Irving made a beautiful throw-in to Bowen inside the box. Bowen took a swing at the bouncing ball and fired it into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.
SUNY Canton tied it up early in the second when Alex Kenmogne scored off a feed from Agustin Nunez to knot it 1-1. Thomas College got the game winner in the 80th minute when Irving scored off a corner kick by Walker to give Thomas the 2-1 win.
Bowen was named to the All-Conference First Team, Bowen played in all eight conference tilts and totaled eight goals and four assists for 20 points in those games.
