Bermuda - Mexico CONCACAF U17 Boys Championship

After losing to Trinidad and Tobago in the first game of 2019 CONCACAF Under 17 Boys Championship at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida in Group E, Bermuda will seek to recover ground against Mexico after their 1-0 victory over Jamaica.

Bermuda Starting Line Up: Coolridge Durham, Zakiyah Lee, Arnezha Astwood, Malachi Trott, Nazuri Dailey, Jayden Ebbin, LJ Lewis, Ne-Jai Tucker, Mazhi Simmons, Jayce Basden, Jai Bean - Substitutes: Ayleal Dill, Oyinde Bascome, Nahje Smith, Noji Paynter, Seke Spence, DJ Millett, Samori Greenidge-Saltus, Rayquon Woodley-Smith, Zaire Smith

Mexico took the lead in the 10th minute, when Efrain Alvarez lobbed the ball over the advancing Bermuda goalkeeper Coolridge Fubler and into the empty net.

Luis Martinez Armas doubled the Mexico lead when he scored a header from a corner in the 16th minute.

Bermuda came close to pulling a goal back in the 22nd minute but a shot by Jai Bean came back off the upright.

Minutes before the half Fubler kept Bermuda in the game when he made a point blank save.

For the second game in a row Bermuda went to the halftime break down 2-0.

Fubler would again keep Bermuda in the on three occasions early in the second half making timely saves, but Mexico went ahead 3-0 when Santiago Munoz's header went in off the crossbar in the 56th minute.

Mexico would go ahead 4-0 in the 82nd minute when Israel Luna found the back of the net.

Five minutes later it was 5-0 when Kevin Mariscal scored from a rebound.
