Bermuda’s Alshauntae Symons has won the team's first Gold Medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin.
Competing in Bowling, Symons captured the Gold medal with a score of 313 over three games.
Symons bowled a 110 in the first game, she then bowled a 94 in the second game, before closing out with a 109 in the third game.
Tiannai Lowe won Bermuda’s second Medal of the day claiming the Bronze Medal in Bowling, she had 290 pins after three games, while Ciara Bell finished 4th with 286 pins.
Eden Woollery finished seventh competing in Equestrian, the English Equitation Level B Division, and she would finish 7th in the English Working Trail Level B Division.
