Yushae DeSilva-Andrade, and Omar Hayward both competed in the Veldhoven World Boccia Challenger Semi-Finals in the Netherlands at the multifunctional venue NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof in the city Veldhoven nearby Eindhoven.
DeSilva-Andrade went down in her Semi-Final match 4 – 1 to Barbora Skopalová from the Czech Republic. DeSilva-Andrade would then move to the Bronze Medal match where she defeated Desiree Segarra from Spain 7 – 2.
Hayward had a Quarter-Final match first where he took on Riccardo Zanella from Italy, Hayward defeated Zanella 7 – 2 to advance to the Semi-Finals. In his Semi-Final match Hayward took on Panagiotis Soulanis from Greece, he would fall 5 – 2. Hayward would move to the Bronze Medal match defeating Alvaro Ballesteros Cascales from Spain 5 – 3.
