Kamau Leverock helped the World XI defeat the Michigan Cheetahs to claim the 2022 Diversity Cup in Detroit.
Playing in the 17th Annual Diversity Cup 2022 Final, the Michigan Cheetahs batted first and scored 139/9 in their allotted 20 overs, opener Ian Chauhan was the top scorer with a knock of 54, Ali Shafique was the pick of the World XI bowlers with figures of 4-0-29-3. Leverock bowled 2-0-7-1.
In reply the World XI scored 140/4, Lendl Simmons was the top scorer with 47 not out, he and Leverock scored the teams final 29 runs to guide them to victory, with Leverock scoring 8 not out.
